Frequently asked questions

How do I download an Instagram video to my phone?

Open the video in Instagram, tap the share icon, choose Copy link, then paste it into Pullgrab and press Download. On iPhone, if the video opens in Safari, press and hold it and choose Save Video.

Is Pullgrab free?

Yes. Downloading single posts, Reels, photos and carousels is free and needs no account. A paid export of an entire public profile is coming soon.

Do I need to log in with my Instagram account?

No. Pullgrab never asks for your Instagram credentials. It only reads content that is already public.

Does the file have a watermark?

No. You get the original file as uploaded by the author, in the best quality Instagram serves publicly.

Which content is not supported?

Private accounts, stories, highlights and anything that requires being logged in. Pullgrab does not bypass access controls.

Does Pullgrab keep the files?

No. Files are streamed from Instagram to your device on request. Pullgrab stores no copy of the media.
